Jeter's Gold Glove

Hey Manny, how many times will the clowns on WCBS and Al-Yankzeera (Sterling, Steiner, Kay, and the rest of the losers) say, "And now the gold-glover Jeter comes to the plate..." or, "Nice play by the gold glover at shortstop!" About 3000?

"That play right there shows you why he's a gold-glove winner!"

The guy's been around for nine years and has won a grand total of one gold glove. I say, let's take it easy a little. You make one nice catch in the stands, come up bleeding on your face, and you win a gold glove. Hmmph!

Manny's been in the league 11 years and won NO Gold Gloves, there's a lot of people who never win ONE in their whole career. To say "He's been in the league 9 years and won ONE GOld Glove" is quite a bit disingenous.. And you can't honestly tell me he doesn't deserve it this year...

I agree with the fact that one gold glove is an accomplishment with the way the position USED to be stacked, now it has shifted to an offensive position, but hell cabrera would have easily taken it if he spent more time in the american league...

To emphasize the original point I too am tired of hearing routine plays be called masterful and Jeter being overhyped as a great defenseman. Joe Buck & Tim Carver, well... yeah they kissed a lot of Derek Jeter ass this postseason.
