M's Also Punchless

As Yankee fans wonder if things are finally coming around, they're lucky enough to face another team with a struggling offense. Aside from Ichiro and Randy Winn, the M's can't hit a lick. And their pitching has been much shakier than the A's. Thing to hope for: the Yanks are hitting the West Coast after this series, where they've always done badly, even during the dynasty years. And what I'm really hoping for: after that, for the first time ever, the Yanks come into a Subway Series with a worse record than the Mets. Wouldn't that be something!

- Tino hit another one tonight. Hey, better now than October.

- And on the bright side of things, the Sox and O's won tonight. Great start for Danny Cabrera, hope he can turn it on.

No question about it - a lineup featuring Willie Bloomquist and Wiki Gonzalez - that's not happening. And Manny, you're giving Randy Winn way too much credit.

Hey, Winn is hitting .304 so far. Besides, everyone else is so bad in that lineup they're actually making him look good!
