"Edgar is obviously not going to hit 40 home runs," Kevin Millar said. "He's not going to be a Tejada offensively. But what Edgar brings are some intangibles. He is a great baseball player. He is a great base-runner. He is a great defender. He is smart. He is like a Jeter. He makes his teammates better."
Millar, however, did leave out the fact that Renteria comes for half the price.
