Watched the beginning of Mike and the Mad Dog today. While Mike was getting all excited about the Yankees' win streak, looking at it as the team finally coming around, Mad Dog reminded the guy that the Yanks have had trouble with all the AL East teams. Doggie also mentioned the fact that the O's and Sox are still hot.
The Yanks have no reason to get excited yet. Let's wait till after they hit the West Coast, where they always struggle, and come back to me after the Subway Series.
And if the O's come out at least 4-2 after facing the Twins and White Sox, that earns 'em another shred of legitimacy.
