When Jeff Nelson was not re-signed after the 2000 season, he cursed the Yankees, saying that they wouldn't win without him. And he was right! I don't just hate the Yankees... I DESPISE THEM! They ruined baseball by outspending everyone by a ton, and then they make a big deal when they're in the playoffs. Here's the diary of a true Yankee despiser!

Been there, read that. Heyman hit the nail on the head with that column - same as you've been stating for some time. (See "These Are Not Your Late '90's Yankees" of Jan. 11) I like the way the Stinkees "chemistry" is shaping up for this season. Plenty of negative vibes. Plus, the Boss is proving that he's still in the picture to stir up the pot. I can't wait to see how the Great Sage and Spin-meister, Joe Snorre, will try to smooth things out when tempers inevitably erupt in his clubhouse.
If Heyman's getting his ideas from this blog, it would be nice he quoted me every now and then, no?
